Terms of Use

Tact-Comp is a personal record-keeping and educational tool. It helps you organize firearms, documents, training records, range sessions, and state-compliance information.

The App is not legal advice. All compliance, reciprocity, and legality information is educational only and may be incomplete or out of date. Laws change frequently. Always verify with the official state source or a licensed attorney before acting.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or 21 where required by law) and legally permitted to possess the items you record to use this App.

You own the information you enter. You may export or permanently delete it at any time from Privacy & Security. We never ask for SSN, home address, or driver's license numbers, and you should not enter them.

Some features (Armory, Range log) keep data on your device. Synced features (Command Center, Documents, Training) store data in your private account, protected by row-level access controls.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or to plan unlawful activity
• Attempt to access another user's data or bypass security controls
• Scrape, resell, or republish the App's content or listings at scale
• Submit business listings or claims you are not authorized to make
• Upload malware, or interfere with the App's operation

Pro is billed monthly, yearly, or as a one-time lifetime purchase through our payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the Safe account panel; access continues until the end of the paid period. All Access codes unlock Pro for their stated term and may not be resold.

Tactical Finder listings are submitted by business owners or sourced from public data. We do not endorse listed businesses. Claimed listings may be reviewed before approval. We may remove listings that are inaccurate, fraudulent, or unlawful.

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that legal information is accurate, complete, or current, or that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tact-Comp and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including fines, seizures, or criminal charges arising from reliance on the App — or for any amount exceeding what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means acceptance. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from Privacy & Security.
